I Will Not Forsake You

 

Forsake means abandon, leave, desert, leave, quit, depart from, leave behind, leave high and dry, turn one’s back on, aside, give up, reject, disown.

I will not forsake you says the Lord; The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be Deuteronomy 31:8

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake youDeuteronomy 31:6

Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him on those who hope in His mercy Psalm 33:18 (NKJV)

The LORD is close to the broken hearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed Psalm 34:18 (NLT)

For You are my hope, O Lord GOD; You are my trust from my youth Psalm 71:5 (NKJV)

When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer Psalm 94:19 (NLT)

For the LORD will not reject his people; he will never forsake his inheritance. Psalm 94:14

 

The name of the Lord is a strong fortress; the godly run to him and are safe Proverbs 18:10 (NLT)

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint Isaiah 40:31(KJV)

 

When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you Isaiah 43:2 (NLT)

 

The unfailing love of the LORD never ends! By his mercies we have been kept from complete destruction. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each day. I say to myself, “The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in Him!” Lamentations 3:22-24 (NASB)

 

Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6 (NKJV).

 

Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you Hebrews 13:5 (NKJV).

 

Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work  2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 (NKJV).
