Arise and shine your light
Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. Isaiah 60:1
Look at: Light
Light – Is the natural agent that stimulates sight and makes things visible;
I like to put it this way; Light is the agent that make things visible
Light dispels darkness
It Bring: illumination, enlightenment, hope, cheerfulness, happiness, awareness, visibility, clarity and life.
Light also as to do with time, time is govern by the light.
The Great light that God as given to govern the day when it go down and comes up again, we know that a new day as began.
Arise mean to get up from sitting, lying, or kneeling;
Arise from that chair.
to awaken; wake up.
to move upward; ascend.
to appear; spring up:
Rise is mostly used for things or persons that move from a lower to a higher lever; go up: the sun rises every morning. All rise! (a call for people in a court room). He has risen from the dead!
Arise is used to speak of situations that (usually unexpectedly) come up. Like problems, matters, needs, opportunities etc. Arise for example; could you stay over for a couple of hours should the need arise?
Luke 15: 17-18 “But when he came to himself, (the light dawn on him) he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you (Luke 15:11-32).
Now when Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, He departed to Galilee. And leaving Nazareth, He came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the regions of Zebulun and Naphtali, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:
“The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali,
By the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan,
Galilee of the Gentiles:
The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light,
And upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death
Light has dawned.
From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” Matthew 4:12-17.
But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light Ephesians 5:13-14.
As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world” John 9:5.
We were all children of Darkness walking and living to the pattern of this world.
For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light Ephesians 5:8.
“You are the light of the world”. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven Matthew 5:14-16.
It is time for you to arise and shine your light.
